Chris Stutzman
Assembly – Drawer Box Assembly | 1 Year at MAVIN
In his first year at MAVIN, Chris Stutzman has already shown just how much he’s willing to learn and contribute. His primary role is in Drawer Box Assembly, where he rotates through all five positions on the line to help keep production moving efficiently. He’s also begun training on the CNC router, serves as a backup route driver, and even helps with HVAC filter changes after hours.
Chris’s supervisor describes him as reliable, determined, and positive, with consistency and dependability being two of his greatest strengths. Teamwork comes naturally to Chris. He’s always looking for ways to help the group succeed, whether that means maximizing production during the day or putting in extra time to make sure a task gets finished.
For Chris, that willingness to contribute is closely connected to what he appreciates about MAVIN. He values the culture created by leadership and says MAVIN feels more like a big family than simply a workplace. The friendliness and respect he experiences from managers and teammates motivate him to work harder and give back in return.
That sense of community is also behind some of Chris’s favorite MAVIN memories. He enjoys coming together for Townhalls, fundraisers, and other group events, but one experience particularly stands out: the Walleye Fish Fry. Seeing team members generously share their own catch to feed everyone left an impression on Chris and captured the sense of community he appreciates about being here.
Beyond the Workplace
Family is a big part of Chris’s life. He and his wife, Tessa, have three children, and he says one of his greatest joys is simply being a dad and raising their kids together. As a family, they love spending time outdoors and being with their dogs.
Chris also has a musical side: he sings and plays guitar. Whether he’s spending time with his family, enjoying the outdoors, or making music, it’s clear that the relationships in his life mean a lot to him.
Chris’s dependability, willingness to learn, and genuine appreciation for the people around him make him a great addition to the MAVIN team.

“One of the things that makes our culture unique is that our core values aren’t just words on the wall, they’re something you can see exemplified at all levels of our organization. One other thing would be that we don’t just work hard but we have fun while working hard together.”
-Brandon Bernhart, Maintenance Manager
“The thing I enjoy the most is the people I work with, also the challenges that we deal with everyday figuring out new processes to accomplish our goals. As well as, keeping production on schedule and getting it out in a timely manner. “
